Our Company

This is where you can learn about our company and its history. We have been interested in starting our own business for many years and are excited to finally have reached that goal. Taking our business to the web makes the process even more exciting.

I have always felt the draw of owning my own business but really didn't know what direction to go in until I started going to the different Parrot Head events and saw how much fun everyone was having along with the need to purchase 'parrotphenalia' for the event or to take home to decorate their 'nest'. That's when my husband and I came up with the name 'A Bit of Paradise' and started our business in 2003. It's been a fun venture and we'd love to grow the business so it's our full time job once we retire from the education system in the near future.
